 "description": "This feature class has been created by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) Resource Markets geospatial team. It is intended to be published as part of a group layer containing Relationship Agreements, Energy and Resources Accords, and Crown Minerals Protocols data. This layer contains Iwi Relationship Agreements only. Crown Minerals Protocols and Energy and Resources Accords are published separately.  Boundaries for the relationship agreements included in this layer have been primarily sourced from Te Puni Kōkiri data, with some digitised in-house at MBIE. The agreements in this feature class may need to be updated as needed. Boundaries are subject to a margin of error of a few hundred metres, given that the TPK and MBIE generated boundaries have been georeferenced from fairly low-resolution PDF scans of maps. Issues with the boundaries not aligning perfectly with the current coastline or cadastre are also present. This feature class and the data contained within are managed by the NZP&M Geospatial Team.
